David Wellard

I joined BT straight from school in 1980 and have been involved in LV cabling ever since. I Joined IST in 2018 as Projects Director and since then have worked on countless projects in the UK and overseas. The vast array of new technologies that IST produce excites me and I love explaining and demonstrating our cutting-edge technology to all of our clients, both old and new.

Carl Barrington

I started at IST in 2022 as Research, Development and Operations Manager. I manage the research and development team and the day-to-day operations of the company including customer support.

Chris Ringwood

Back in 2013, I started at IST as a Product Design Engineer but since 2018, I have been the Projects and Projects Manager. My role is focused on the specification and delivery of complex, high technology lighting and controls projects. As well as product design engineering as part of the research and development team, and detailed technical and CAD design.

Nina Archenhold

I have worked for IST since 2008. I started as a Sales and Marketing Assistant and I am now the Marketing Director at the company.

Megan Pound

I joined the company in 2022 as a Marketing Executive. I am responsible for bringing a creative element to IST, promoting our latest technology innovations, and always looking for new ways to elevate brand presence and awareness.

Kelly Stirk

I have worked at IST since 2017 and I am the Head of Finance here at the company. I am responsible for all financial and administrative duties.

Lorraine Tedstone

I joined IST in September 2016 after a long spell in Retail. My position was a Production Assembler when I joined the company and I have progressed along with IST to become Production Team Executive. I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of our production facility, the planning and organisation of assembly, managing stock levels and all the logistical requirements of the company.

Mitchell Tedstone

I joined the company in November 2021 as a Maintenance Technician. My day-to-day role consists of maintaining the facility, repairs and production.

Matthew Turnbull

I have been a Senior Software Developer at IST since 2018. I primarily work on the development of our BMS, iMune®, focusing on control methods, system improvements and integration of third-party solutions. Additionally, I work on the development of our other software applications, such as iSpayce™ and any future innovations that develop.

Ambrose Eromosele

I joined the company in 2016 as an Electronics and Embedded Firmware Engineer. I create electronics schematics and maintain existing products; I have to write PC test software for these products. I also layout PCB’s and write embedded firmware where required.

Ping Wang

I have been an Embedded Software Engineer at the company since 2015. My role is focused on embedded software design and development and I write all of the advanced software and algorithms for our iDrive® drivers and control systems.

Martin Harris

I started working with IST in 2020 as part of a knowledge transfer partnership and was an official employee at IST as of November 2021. I am a Software Developer and a key part of my role is researching and developing cutting-edge smart building innovations in AI, VLC and indoor positioning.

Sam Doran

I have been a Software Developer at IST since 2021. My role as a software specialist allows me to create and integrate industry leading programs for smart building solutions, using a whole variety of languages.

Navid Hassan

I joined the team in October 2021 and my job title is Senior System Engineer. I have responsibility for the development and implementation of solutions for visible light communication-based positioning, with ultra-high accuracy. I also develop algorithms for highly accurate step counting and measurement.

Rajesh Shenoy

I have previously worked as a researcher in biology at Universities of Warwick, Cambridge and Liverpool for over ten years but then decided to join IST in March 2021 as an IOT Applications Developer. I am a full stack developer and use Java and Javascript programming languages. I am currently working on our ground-breaking workspace management software, iSpayce™.

Xicong Li

I joined IST in October 2021 as a KTP Associate working jointly with Northumbria University to design the strategic high-speed LiFi product, to expand IST’s telecommunication portfolio. Prior to this role, I worked as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Early-Stage Researcher at Northumbria University, focusing on equalisation techniques to boost LiFi system bandwidth.
